The Manufacturing Module (EIMM)

The Manufacturing Module provides exact step-by-step assembly and/or test instructions that dynamically adapt to production workers’ abilities. These instructions are in the form of annotated, photographic quality images and text directives. They are automatically generated for both custom orders or build-to-stock product models.

With the click of a button, production supervisors can alter build processes from single cell, to multi-station or progressive line. Production scheduling may be optimized for throughput or order priority. The Enterprise Integrator is easily adapted to a wide variety of business models and easily integrated with existing databases, billing, and MRP systems.

The Manufacturing Module is comprised of five tools:

• The Scheduler is used to automatically generate the exact assembly instructions and control the product flow through various assembly and test stations

• The Viewer is used by manufacturing technicians to view both static and dynamic process/assembly/test instructions.

• The Product Modeler is used to instantly change "The Configuration" and thus the manufacturing process of a build to stock product.

• The Image Compiler is used by process engineers to easily create and edit the composite images shown in the electronic work instructions (EWIs).

• The Knowledge Editor is a point and click tool to maintain the knowledge base.
