The Sales Enabler (EI-SE)
is used to configure, validate, quote and
automatically enter an order into your current billing system.
The main configuration screen allows the
salesperson and customer to see and modify the product as it is being configured.
The customer is able to select the desired components as well as their placement.
With the Sales Enabler it is virtually impossible to order an invalid configuration
because only valid options are presented to the user at each step of the configuration
process.
The Sales Module Knowledge Editor provides a
simple point and click interface to load the configuration constraints into the Sales
Enabler. The constraints are a combination of marketing, sales, manufacturing, and
engineering requirements.
The Ala Carte screen is used to order loose
components or non-configurable products. The parts are all indexed by category or
can be accessed by a simple text search. Product information alerts and data
retrieval boxes automatically appear when the associated part is selected.
Requested delivery dates can be automatically constrained by product release dates and
required lead times.
The pricing screen is used to apply various
discounts or pricing models to get an exact quote for your customers order.
Discounts can be made on an entire order or line-by-line. Practically every aspect
of this screen is tailored to your business model. Pricing models are established by
your sales or marketing organization, discount limits can be absolutely enforced or merely
suggested. Individual customer models can be established, which can be applied to
all of that customers orders and then further discounted for special events.
You can even tailor the fields that are displayed to the sales force such as profit margin
and cost.
The order entry screen is used to collect
all the required and optional information to correctly place the order on your current
billing system. Information such as customer number, requested delivery dates and
quantities, purchase order number, payment type, etc., can all be collected and validated.
This screen is completely tailored to your order entry needs. All fields and
data transfer formats can be setup and easily modified by your organization as your needs
dictate.
